Big Sweater

IN THIS OUTFIT:Sweater by Karen Scott 7.99(Goodwill),Boots by We Who See 29.99 (Urban outfitters) and tights 5.80 (forever 21)Chain purse 1.50 (Goodwill)
I've always loved the style of the giant sweaters,(especially when Mary Kate Olsen is rocking one) fitted with nothing but tights, leggings, or GASP! bare legs. And this year it seems to be very in. It can look great with both boots, flats, even some strappy sandals. There are a lot of places selling "wannabe vintage sweaters" right now. Granted they are cute! But the number one best place to get an over-sized sweater is....drum roll...GOODWILL! they have hundreds of them, in both the Men's and Woman's section. For the most part their all under eight bucks. They come in all sorts of crazy designs. There was one with a bunch of taxi cabs all over it, Of course they have hundreds upon hundreds of "Bill Cosby Sweaters" and I saw one with "Bite me" in a pink heart that reminded me of Wild Fox Couture, I even found an Oscar Dela Renta sweater their for eight bucks. They had a collection of them, but I didn't want to be greedy ^_^
Anyway I think if your going to buy an oversized sweater, the first place you must check out is Goodwill!

The Army Jacket

IN THIS OUTFIT: Army Jacket (Sweet Element is the brand but I bought it at TJ Maxx for 24.99)
The Army Jacket is very popular this fall. From Olivia Palermo, to Mary Kate, and Cat Deeley! The army jacket is the hit item for fall. Along with Leopard but I'll get into that in another post :)
What I love about the army jacket, is how casual it is yet it can make a simple outfit very stylish. You may be wearing something casual like black leggings, and lacy tank,  with flats, but when you add an army Jacket over it,maybe a scarf too it just looks that much edgier. There nearly everywhere now. I know they were selling them at forever21 for 37.80 online, and they sold out within two weeks. At Urban outfitters they are selling them From 58-88$ that's not too expensive, but I would check TJ Maxx, Goodwill, even Marshall's before you go to Urban.

If your truly creative you can make a trash bag couture~quote by Maya Louise

IN THIS OUTFIT: Button Up Denim Shirt (1.50 Goodwill), Black spandex skirt (5$ Goodwill) Chunky Wood Black Strap Heels (37.50 Charlotte Russe (it was buy one get one for 15.))

Contrary to Popular belief, you don't have to wear designer to be stylish. For me the most expensive thing I usually wear, is my shoes, and even they are usually never above fifty dollars. From head to toe, I shop in the cheap! From vintage stores, goodwill, salvation army, to warehouse sales, closing sales, and sales in general . I am a middle class Fashionista, and I think it's important to know how to shop in the cheap, but still continue to be chic. No this though I may shop cheap, but I never will let myself look it. I will always steer far far far away from THIN 100% POLYESTER DRESSES! And those are words to live by!
